The restaurant’s menu features a range of flavorful dishes, including their signature Chicken Over Rice, which is consistently praised for its rich taste and complemented perfectly by their garlic sauce. Skewers Halal Reviews
I've been here about five times now, and I absolutely love the Chicken Over Rice plate it's always so flavorful! The garlic sauce is an absolute must; it takes the dish to the next level. This spot was recommended by a close friend, and we don't mind driving 30 minutes from work just to enjoy it. That said, I'm giving it four stars because I did find a hair in my food on one occasion. While it hasn't stopped me from coming back, I hope they take extra care with food handling moving forward.
HIDDEN GEM in the San Fernando Valley We decided to stop here for lunch and so glad we did. It was an unexpected surprise! It's kind of hidden in the back of a shopping center. This was our first time trying this small family owned restaurant but we'll definitely be back! We didn't have time for the dishes that took more time since we had movie tickets. We'll definitely have to try them next time. The ambience could use some updating. There is no public restrooms. But, look past this because the food is really worth trying!! We absolutely loved the Beef Koobideh and Lamb Gyro!! Both were unbelievably delicious and packed with flavor!! It tasted authentic and absolutely fantastic! Don't miss out on the green chutney!! The food is fresh, made to order and halal. They serve Mediterranean and Italian (they make pizzas too). Great prices!! Friendly customer service. She took the time to explain some of the dishes and pointed out the ones that would be a longer wait.
Easy rating. Good food, good service and fresh. Surprising quantity for the price point. The place is located in a mall with lots of parking spots. While the area can get busy, this location has 2 designated parking spots in front of the shop (there could be more, but I noticed 2). Place is pretty easy to get to since the mall is so big. Food quality is great and fresh. I would recommend calling ahead to make an order so that you can pick it up if you're under some time crunch. Everything was great from the rice and protein to the pita and salad. Takeout comes in a Styrofoam container which keeps the heat for about an hour. Hospitality was great. Not sure if I'd dine inside, but I would recommend the food.
Awesome place. I was heading to the sushi spot in the same property and I saw this place and without think I pulled over in their parking spot and walked in. As i walked in a nice lady with the friendliest attitude greeted me with a smile and she was helping decide on what to get and a customer came in after me and she was also super sweet and friendly and she suggested go me to get the NY STYLE PLATTER which is beef and chicken over mixed rice. And this was the right choice because it's really good. I'm so blessed that every time I go to a new place I get greeted by amazing people who love what they do.
We ordered a chicken breast kabob with a side of chapli kabob. Food took around 20 minutes to be served, which the lady did tell us so no complaints about that. Food itself was good but the chicken could've been more flavorful. Chapli was fair, could've had more of an identity. Wasn't Pakistani or Afghan persay. The rice was yummy and the bread was fresh. Cashier was friendly and the pricing is fair. Two people could share one plate. The inside wasn't the cleanest and lacked public bathroom. But besides that, it's okay.
